MARCH IS READING MONTH!
During March, we will do all sorts of activities to bring reading and literacy into our lives. In addition to fun activities, we also have mystery readers coming in throughout the month to read a story to us. We will upload pictures and updates here!
Our very first Mystery Reader is the one and only Mrs. Schrot! She read the students a Dr. Seuss book in honor of his bithday. They loved it!
Our next mystery reader was Mrs. Clemens! She came in to read "Why Was I So Scared?" It is a silly story about a pair of pants without any legs in them! We love when Mrs. Clemens comes to visit!
Our next mystery reader was Mrs. Hall's friend, Bryan. He is a state trooper and he read us Rabbit Stew, since it was our last day of school before Easter. He also brought us stickers and fake tattoos with the police logo on them! It was really fun having him!
Our next mystery reader was Brynne Barnes. She is the author of a book called "Colors of Me". She read us her book and then gave us a sneak preview of her new book coming out in September. We were SO excited to have her and we really enjoyed her visit.
